If I could make a wish and have that wish come true today, It would be to have this CFS just go away. To not be always tired, and dizzy, and depressed, To live a normal life without the constant need to rest. My mind is always fuzzy, my body filled with pain, Just to do the simple things is often such a drain. Because I’m so exhausted, my activities drop to nil, But when I’m doing nothing I then end up tireder still. It’s an awful, vicious cycle that is so hard to combat, Yet even if I do, one tiny slip and the cycle’s back. Many nights I’ll lie awake, my cat curled at my feet, Insanely tired but still
